Wood Group awarded engineering modifications contract
Wood Group has been awarded a contract by Statoil, on behalf of Gassco, for engineering modifications and upgrades to its Kollsnes process plant, west of Bergen, Norway. Estimated value of the contract, including options and procurement, is more than NOK500 million.

Development plan for Peregrino Phase II submitted
Following the sanction of the Peregrino phase 2 project in December, Statoil together with its partner Sinochem submitted the Plan of Development (PoD) to the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) in Rio de Janeiro on 30 January.

Wood Group Mustang Norway completes hook-up of Valemon platform on Norwegian continental shelf on schedule
Wood Group Mustang Norway (WGMN), together with Statoil, has successfully completed hook-up of the Valemon platform in the North Sea on schedule. Valemon, located on the Norwegian continental shelf (NCS), is the second Statoil-operated platform to be put into production in the last nine months.

Unmanned wellhead platform chosen concept for Oseberg Future development
Statoil and its licence partners have chosen an unmanned wellhead platform as the concept for the Oseberg Future development phase I project in the North Sea. The platform will be controlled from the Oseberg field centre.

Norway: Eldfisk II brought on stream in the North Sea
Total announces the start-up of oil production from the Eldfisk II project on the PL 018 license of the Norwegian North Sea, in line with the initial schedule approved in 2011. The project will further increase oil recovery of the Eldfisk field and has a production capacity of 70,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (100%).

Valemon on stream
Today at 08.36 a.m. the Valemon gas and condensate field in the North Sea was brought on stream by Statoil and partners. Recoverable reserves from the field are estimated at 192 million barrels of oil equivalent.
