Technip awarded renewal of subsea services framework agreement with Statoil, Exxon Mobil & Gassco
Technip was awarded a new framework agreement by Statoil, Exxon Mobil and Gassco for diving, subsea intervention and repair contingency services. Under the terms of this framework agreement, a replacement of an existing frame agreement held for eight years, Technip will provide these services for the next four years. This contract, effective from December 1st 2014, also includes an option for additional periods up to seven years.

Statoil is divesting equity in blocks 38 and 39 in the Kwanza basin offshore Angola.

More oil from Oseberg Øst with new drilling campaign

Troll under pressure
On 4 June, two new compressors were lifted aboard the Troll A platform in the North Sea. Once the compressors are up and running next year, they will boost recovery from Troll by more than 83 billion standard cubic metres of gas.

Production from Snorre B template shut down
Production from a subsea template at the Snorre B platform was shut down on 17 May following the discovery of an abnormal erosion of mass under the template.

Statoil has awarded the Johan Sverdrup Infield Pipelines FEED contract to IKM Ocean Design.

Portfolio adjustment in Angola
Statoil is divesting its 5% participating interest in the ENI-operated block 15/06 offshore Angola to the concessionaire Sonangol E.P.
The transaction, subject to customary closing conditions, includes a consideration of USD 200 million and an effective date of 1 January 2013.

Exploration well in Drivis completed
Operator Statoil has together with PL532 partners made an oil and gas discovery in the Drivis prospect in the Barents Sea. This concludes the 2013/2014 exploration programme around the Johan Castberg field.
