Foster Wheeler Awarded Contract for Supply of Nine Fired Heaters to Russian Refinery
Foster Wheeler AG (Nasdaq:FWLT) announced today that a subsidiary of its Global Engineering and Construction Group has been awarded a contract by LLC KINEF, a subsidiary of the oil company Surgutneftegaz, for the engineering and material supply of nine fired heaters for the new High Octane Gasoline Compounds Production Complex to be built at the KINEF - Kirishinefteorgsyntez refinery in Kirishi, Leningradsky Region, Russia. The Kirishinefteorgsyntez refinery has a crude oil processing capacity of 230,000 barrels per stream day.

Oil Production Starts at the Junin-6 Block in Venezuela
The first oil production has started at the Junin-6 block in the Orinoco River basin in Venezuela. The giant Junin-6 oil field, which has geological reserves of over 50 billion barrels of oil, will be developed on a parity basis by a consortium of five major Russian oil companies: Gazprom Neft, LUKOIL, Rosneft, Surgutneftegaz and TNK-BP through OOO National Oil Consortium (NOC).

Gazprom Neft Appointed as Project Leader in Venezuela
Gazprom Neft has been appointed Project Leader for the Junin-6 project in the heavy oil basin of the Orinoco River in Venezuela. The resolution on the appointment was passed by the Board of Directors of OOO National Oil Consortium (NNK) established by five major Russian oil companies Gazprom Neft, LUKOIL, Rosneft, Surgutneftegaz and TNK-BP holding equal stakes in the project.
