FPSO Petrojarl I dry-docked at Damen Shiprepair Rotterdam for EPC Redeployment Upgrade
After four months of preliminary work alongside, FPSO Petrojarl I moved on April 16, 2015 into Damen Shiprepair Rotterdam’s 307m long x 47 m wide dry dock no 8 for work to the hull. In all, the vessel will spend a year at DSR before heading off to the South Atlantic. The Teekay managed FPSO arrived at Damen Shiprepair Rotterdam in January 2015.

Teekay Offshore Awarded New FPSO Contract for Petrojarl I FPSO and Agrees to Acquire Knarr FPSO
Teekay Offshore Partners L.P. (NYSE:TOO) announced that it has entered into an agreement with a consortium led by Queiroz Galvão Exploração e Produção SA (QGEP) to provide a floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) unit for the Atlanta field located in the Santos Basin offshore Brazil.

Fairmount tugs succesfully delivered FPSO Petrojarl Knarr to Norway
Three tugs of Fairmount Marine have towed the brand new FPSO Petrojarl Knarr from South Korea to Norway in just 61 days. Petrojarl Knarr, one of world’s largest floating production and storage units (FPSO) for harsh environments, was delivered in the port of Haugesund, Norway, September 16th 2014.

WGPSN clinches UK duty holder contract extension
Wood Group PSN (WGPSN) will continue to provide duty holder and asset management services to the Hummingbird Spirit floating storage offloading production (FPSO) vessel, under a new contract extension from Teekay. Effective from April 2013, the contract continues until the end of 2013 with options to extend to March 2015. This two year extension option is valued at USD $87 million (£56 million GBP).

FPSO Piranema Spirit - PWT
KANFA Group has been awarded an EPCIC contract byTeekay Petrojarl on a new Produced Water Treatment (PWT) package on the FPSO Piranema Spirit operating in Brazilian waters. The contract includes new Hydrocyclone vessels, Gas Floatation Unit, Centrifuges and pumps, all prefabricated, tested, installed and commissioned offshore.

Teekay LNG Partners Orders Two LNG Newbuildings; Intends to Charter on Long-Term Contracts
Teekay LNG Partners L.P. (Teekay LNG or the Partnership) (NYSE:TGP) today announced that it has entered into an agreement with Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering CO., LTD., (DSME) of South Korea for the construction of two 173,400 cubic meter Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) carrier newbuildings, with options to order up to three additional vessels. The Partnership intends to secure long-term contract employment for both vessels prior to their delivery in the first half of 2016. The newbuildings will be constructed with M-type, Electronically Controlled, Gas Injection (MEGI) twin engines, which are expected to be significantly more fuel-efficient and have lower emission levels than other engines currently being utilized in LNG shipping.

Teekay LNG Partners and Marubeni Joint Venture to Acquire Ownership Interest in Eight LNG Carriers From A.P. Moller-Maersk A/S
Teekay LNG Partners L.P. (Teekay LNG or the Partnership) today announced that its joint venture (the Joint Venture) with Marubeni Corporation (Marubeni) has agreed to acquire ownership interests in eight liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers from Denmark-based global conglomerate, A.P. Moller-Maersk A/S, for an aggregate purchase price of approximately $1.402 billion.
