Axens’ VGO HDS technology selected by Total for its Donges Refinery, France
Axens VGO HDS technology has been selected by Total for a new vacuum gasoil (VGO) hydro desulfurization unit at the Donges refinery (France). The unit is designed to process around 40,000 BPD (barrels per day) and will allow Total producing low sulfur fuels meeting the evolution of EU specifications.

Angola: Total starts up production from Dalia Phase 1A on deep offshore Block
Total has started production from Dalia Phase 1A, a new development on its deep offshore operated Block 17, located 135 km off the coast of Angola. Dalia Phase 1A will develop additional reserves of 51 million barrels (Mb) and will contribute 30,000 barrels per day (b/d) to the block’s production.

Awarded FPSO Produced Water Treatment Packages
Alderley plc is delighted to announce the award from SAIPEM, a contract to design, engineer and fabricate two FPSO Produced Water Treatment Packages for the Kaombo FPSO Project in Angola. The project will be undertaken by Alderley Process Technologies, a subsidiary of Alderley plc. The Kaombo field is located 260km offshore Luanda in Angola and will produce around 230,000 Barrels of oil per day (BOPD).

Total’s French Refining Roadmap: Upgrade Donges And Transform La Mède
Total today presented its French refining roadmap to employee representatives. The plan is designed to give each Total’s refining site in France the means to resist in a volatile environment and perform profitably. Under the plan, Total will invest to upgrade the Donges refinery in western France and transform the La Mède refinery in southern France, to ensure they thrive going forward.

Nigeria: Total Completes $1 Billion Of Onshore Divestments
Total has completed the divestment of its stake in onshore Oil Mining Lease (OML) 29 to Aiteo Eastern E&P, a Nigerian company, for $569 million. Together with the recently completed divestments of OML 24 and OML 18, Total’s share of sale proceeds from these three onshore Nigerian blocks amounts to over $1 billion.

Technip awarded subsea contract for the Glenlivet project, West of Shetlands, UK
Building on the previous award by Total E&P UK of the contract for the Edradour Subsea Development, located approximately 75 km North West of Shetlands in the UK waters, Technip has been awarded an additional scope for the parallel development of the Glenlivet field located nearby.

UK: West Franklin Phase 2 brought on stream in the North Sea
Total has started gas and condensate production from the West Franklin Phase 2 project in the Central Graben area of the UK North Sea. The project will supply 40,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d) to the Elgin/Franklin hub.

Nigeria: Total achieves flare-out on its operated Ofon field
Total has completed the flare out of the Ofon field on Oil Mining Lease (OML) 102 offshore Nigeria. The associated gas of the Ofon field is now being compressed, evacuated to shore and monetized via Nigeria LNG.
