EDF announces its final investment decision in respect of the methane terminal at Dunkirk besides Fluxys G and Total which have both signed agreements giving them shares of 25 % and 10 % respectively in Dunkirk LNG. This company which is responsible for building the industrial installations for the terminal is now 65 %-owned by EDF. The three partners will thus share the €1 billion investment in Dunkirk LNG, based on their respective shareholding in the company.

Kinder Morgan Grows Petcoke Terminal Network with Port Arthur Acquisition
Kinder Morgan Energy Partners, L.P. (NYSE: KMP) today announced that it has acquired a newly constructed petroleum coke (petcoke) terminal in Port Arthur, Texas, for approximately $67 million from TGS Development Group. KMP will operate the facility, which handles petcoke from Total Petrochemicals USA, Inc.'s recently expanded Port Arthur refinery, and provide conveying, storage and ship loading services to Total pursuant to a 25-year contract. The refinery is expected to produce more than 1 million tons of petcoke annually. The transaction, which was developed in partnership with TGS and Total, is expected to be immediately accretive to cash distributable to KMP unitholders.

Vopak and Enagas acquire LNG import and re-gasification terminal in Altamira, Mexico
Vopak and Enagas from Spain have reached agreement with current owners Shell (50%), Total (25%) and Mitsui & Co., LTD. (25%) to acquire 100% of the shares in the LNG import and re-gasification terminal in Altamira, Mexico. For this purpose, a joint venture has been established in which Vopak owns 60% of the shares and Enagas 40% (with joint management control). The closing of the transaction is subject to the conclusion of project financing and government approvals.

Qatar: Total Farms into Exploration Block BC with a 25% Interest
Total announced that it has signed an agreement with CNOOC Middle East (Qatar) Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CNOOC International Limited, to acquire a 25% interest in Qatar’s Block BC (pre-Khuff) exploration license. CNOOC Middle East (Qatar) Limited will continue to be the operator with a 75% interest.

Total Bolivia - new gas and condensate discovery on the Aquio block in the Andean foothills
Total announces that the exploration well AQI-X1001 drilled by its subsidiary Total E&P Bolivie (“TEPBo”) has encountered gas and condensate on the Aquio block. This well confirms the northern extension of the Incahuasi structure, discovered in 2004 by the exploration well ICS-X1 in the adjacent Ipati block.

Trinidad and Tobago: Start-up of production from Phase 2 of the Greater Angostura gas field
Total (30%) and partners BHP Billiton (45%, operator) and Chaoyang (25%) announce the start-up of the Phase 2 gas development of the Greater Angostura field with a design capacity of 280 million cubic feet of gas per day (7.9 million cubic metres per day).

EDF confirms its investment in Dunkirk methane terminal project
EDF, via its subsidiary Dunkerque LNG, has confirmed its investment in the Dunkirk methane terminal project, at the Le Clipon site in Loon-Plage. The announcement follows the decision by the Grand Port Maritime de Dunkerque (Dunkirk port) to approve the project in May 2010.
