Total agrees to sell to Perenco its exploration and production interest in Cameroon
Total announces having finalized an agreement in principle with Perenco, an independent exploration and production French company, to sell its 75.8% equity in its upstream affiliate Total E&P Cameroun, a Cameroonian company which other shareholders include the national oil company – SNH (Société Nationale des Hydrocarbures – 20%) and Paris Orléans – Groupe Rotchshild (4.2%). This agreement is subject to the Cameroonian Authorities’ approval.

Côte d’Ivoire: Total acquires an interest in CI-100 deepwater exploration licence
Total today announces the signature of an agreement with Yam’s Petroleum to acquire a 60% interest in the CI-100 license. Through this agreement, Total becomes the project operator. Yam’s Petroleum retains a 25% interest and Côte d’Ivoire’s national oil company Petroci holds the remaining 15%. The transaction has been approved by the Côte d’Ivoire authorities.

INPEX signs Heads of Agreement with PT Nusantara Regas
INPEX CORPORATION (INPEX) announced today that INPEX and its partner Total E&P Indonesie, operator of the Mahakam PSC, signed a Heads of Agreement with PT Nusantara Regas pertaining to the supply of 11.75 million tons of Bontang LNG over the period of 2012-2022 to the West Java LNG terminal, the first LNG receiving terminal to be built in Indonesia (Floating Storage Regasification Unit). PT Nusantara Regas is a joint venture between PT. Pertamina (Persero) and PT. PGN (Persero) Tbk. This Heads of Agreement will be followed by an LNG Sale and Purchase Agreement to be executed in 2011 prior to the start-up of deliveries.

Total announces that its subsidiary, TEPA (Block 15/06) Limited, and its partners have made a new oil discovery with the Mpungi-1 well, in the Angolan deep-offshore.

KBR to Execute Topsides Detailed Design for TOTAL's CLOV FPSO
KBR (NYSE: KBR) announced today that it has been awarded a contract to execute the topsides detailed design for TOTAL's CLOV floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) unit. This project is the fourth development pole in Angola's deep offshore Block 17, after Girassol, Dalia and Pazflor. Located approximately 140 kilometres from Luanda and 40 kilometres northwest of Dalia in water depths ranging from 1,100 to 1,400 metres, the CLOV development will lead to four fields - Cravo, Lirio, Orquidea and Violeta - coming on stream.

Total announces that its affiliate TOTAL E&P Borneo and its partners made a significant new gas and condensate discovery in Block B offshore Brunei.

Total announces a new partnership with Gazprom in Bolivia
Total announces the signature of a farm out agreement with Gazprom for the transfer of a 20% interest in the Ipati and Aquio licenses in Bolivia. Subject to the Bolivian authorities’ approval, the partnership on these licenses will be constituted by Total (60%, operator), Tecpetrol (20%) and Gazprom (20%).

Total E&P Canada Ltd completes acquisition of UTS Energy Corporation
Total E&P Canada Ltd. (“Total”), a Total SA subsidiary, announced today that it has completed the acquisition of all of the outstanding shares of UTS Energy Corporation (“UTS”) with its main asset, a 20 per cent interest in the Fort Hills mining project in the Athabasca region of Alberta.
