Air Products’ Technology a Perfect Fit for Massive Russian Arctic LNG Project
Air Products (NYSE: APD), the global leader in liquefied natural gas (LNG) technology and equipment, today announced it has signed an agreement with a consortium including Technip and JGC Corporation to implement the Yamal LNG Project. The LNG plant under construction on the Yamal Peninsula will mark the first time Air Products deploys its proprietary LNG technology and equipment in Russia. The plant will be Russia’s largest LNG production and export facility.

Yokogawa Wins Control System Order for Yamal LNG Project in Russia
Yokogawa Electric Corporation is pleased to announce that its subsidiary Yokogawa Europe Solutions B.V. has been awarded a contract by Yamgaz, a consortium of Technip and JGC Corporation, to supply integrated control and safety systems (ICSS) for the Yamal LNG Project to build a liquefied natural gas plant and other facilities at Sabetta on Russia’s Yamal Peninsula, which is in northwest Siberia, above the Arctic Circle, in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District.

Vinci Construction Wins Construction Contract For Four LNG Storage Tanks For Yamal LNG In Russia
Entrepose Contracting and VINCI Construction Grands Projets, both subsidiaries of VINCI, have been awarded a contract with JSC Yamal LNG, owned by NOVATEK (80 %) and TOTAL (20 %), to perform an engineering, procurement, supply, construction and commissioning of four cryogenic full-containment liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage tanks (each composed of a 9% nickel stainless steel interior container and a pre-stressed concrete external container) with a capacity of 160,000 cubic meters each.

InterOil Selects Total SA for PNG Gas Development
InterOil Corporation (NYSE: IOC) (POMSoX: IOC) (“InterOil” or the “Company”) has agreed to sell to Total S.A. (CAC: TOT; NYSE: TOT) a gross 61.3% interest in Petroleum Retention License 15 (“PRL15”) which contains the Elk-Antelope gas fields in the Gulf Province of Papua New Guinea, and has also granted Total an exclusive right to negotiate a farm-in to all its exploration licenses in Papua New Guinea.

Vallourec provides Total with a wide range of premium offshore solutions off the Angolan coast
Vallourec, world leader in premium tubular solutions, announces the provision of an extensive range of premium offshore solutions to the CLOV deepwater oil and gas project operated by Total E&P in Angola, of which the production is expected to start Q2 2014. CLOV is a cluster of four oil and gas fields named Cravo (C), Lirio (L), Orquidea (O) and Violeta (V) located in the northwest sector of Angola’s offshore Block 17, with water depths ranging from 1,100 to 1,400 metres.

Shell Announces Successful Bid For Giant Field In Deep Water Brazil
A consortium of companies, including Royal Dutch Shell plc (“Shell”), Petrobras, Total, CNPC and CNOOC, won today a 35-year production sharing contract to develop the giant Libra pre-salt oil discovery located in the Santos Basin, offshore Brazil. The Brazilian regulator, Agência Nacional do Petróleo (ANP), estimates Libra’s recoverable resources of between 8 to 12 billion barrels of oil.

Vallourec to supply the offshore Xerelete field in Brazil
Vallourec, world leader in premium tubular solutions, announces that Vallourec Tubos do Brasil, Vallourec’s wholly-owned Brazilian subsidiary, has been selected to supply premium pipes for the offshore Xerelete field in Brazil, of which Total became an operator in June 2012. The Xerelete field is located in the Campos Basin, around 250 kilometers off the coast of Rio de Janeiro in 2,400 m water depth. Vallourec’s products will be used in the exploration and appraisal wells for additional oil and gas resources. Drilling operations are due to start by the end of the year.

The tubes will be produced at Vallourec Tubos do Brasil in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. The mill successfully achieved the extensive qualification process required by Total and is now part of its approved suppliers, for providing OCTG1 products, such as casings, tubing and accessories with premium connections.

Eni: first oil from the Kashagan field has been produced
Eni announces today that first oil from the giant Kashagan oil field has been produced. The oilfield is located in the North Caspian Sea, approximately 80 kilometres southeast of Atyrau, in Kazakhstan. Eni holds a 16.81% stake in the consortium for the development of Kashagan and through Agip KCO is responsible for developing and start of production of the field.
