Technip awarded an important EPCI contract for the G1200 to develop the Starfish field in Trinidad and Tobago
Technip was awarded by BG International Ltd (BG) a lump sum engineering, procurement, commissioning and installation (EPCI) contract for the development of the Starfish field. Located in the East Coast Marine Area, offshore Trinidad, the field lies at a water depth of approximately 130 meters and will be tied back to the existing Dolphin ‘A’ Platform operated by BG.

BP and the Government of Trinidad and Tobago Sign Production Sharing Contracts for New Deepwater Blocks
BP today announced that it has signed two production sharing contracts with the Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. The two deep water exploration blocks are located approximately 300 kilometres from the North East coast of Trinidad. BP was awarded blocks 23(a) and TTDAA 14 in the 2010/2011 deepwater competitive bid round in July 2011, with a 100 per cent working interest.

GDF SUEZ and CIC have closed the first deal of their partnership
GDF SUEZ and CIC have closed the acquisition by CIC of a 30% minority stake in GDF SUEZ Exploration & Production International SA and of a 10% stake in the train 1 of the Atlantic LNG liquefaction plant in Trinidad and Tobago. This transaction is the first milestone of the partnership between the two groups announced in August 2011.

BPTT begins Gas Production from Serrette
BP Trinidad and Tobago (bpTT) today announced the start of natural gas production from the Serrette field, offshore Trinidad. Serrette is located in 280 feet (90 metres) of water off Trinidad's south east coast. BPTT holds a 100 per cent interest in the field.
