Technip, in a consortium with National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC), was awarded by Zakum Development Company (ZADCO) a lump sum engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning and start-up contract for the Upper Zakum 750K Project in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The field is located in the Gulf, 84 kilometers offshore Abu Dhabi. It is divided into four production artificial islands (Central, North, South, and West), with processing facilities at the Central Complex.

Fluor Wins Offshore FEED Contract for Nasr Field in Abu Dhabi
Fluor Corporation (NYSE: FLR) announced today that its Fluor Offshore Solutions unit was awarded a front-end engineering and design (FEED) contract by Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company (ADMA-OPCO) for new offshore facilities located at the Nasr Field approximately 30 kilometers northeast of Umm Shaif Super Complex in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Fluor booked the undisclosed contract value in the third quarter of 2011.

Technip awarded Offshore contract in the United Arab Emirates
Technip was awarded an engineering services contract by ZADCO* for the UZ 750 project, one of the major offshore field development projects in the United Arab Emirates. Occidental to Join ADNOC in Developing Giant Shah Gas Field in the UAE
Occidental Petroleum Corporation (NYSE:OXY) announced today it has been selected by the Government of Abu Dhabi to participate in the development of Abu Dhabi’s Shah gas field, one of the largest gas fields in the Middle East. Under the terms of the new agreement in principle, Oxy will hold a 40-percent participating interest in a 30-year contract. The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) holds the remaining 60-percent interest.
