Enterprise Offering Additional Capacity on Aegis Ethane Pipeline System
Enterprise Products Partners L.P. (NYSE:EPD) today announced it will be conducting a binding open commitment period to gauge shipper support for a proposed expansion of the Aegis pipeline. The 270-mile Aegis system is designed to transport purity ethane from Enterprise’s Mont Belvieu, Texas liquids storage complex to petrochemical facilities in Texas and Louisiana.
Chart E&C Receives LNG Liquefaction Equipment Order for Magnolia LNG Project
Chart Industries, Inc. (Chart) (Nasdaq:GTLS) today announced that Magnolia LNG, a subsidiary company of Liquefied Natural Gas Limited, has awarded its wholly-owned subsidiary, Chart Energy & Chemicals, Inc., contracts in excess of $40 million for the supply of brazed aluminum heat exchangers (BAHX), Core-in-Kettle® exchangers and cold boxes for its mid-scale LNG project at Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Shell updates on Alaska exploration
Shell today provides an update on the Burger J exploration well, located in Alaska’s Chukchi Sea. The Burger J well is approximately 150 miles from Barrow, Alaska, in about 150 feet of water. Shell safely drilled the well to a total depth of 6800 feet this summer in a basin that demonstrates many of the key attributes of a major petroleum basin. For an area equivalent to half the size of the Gulf of Mexico, this basin remains substantially under-explored.
