Jordan Cove LNG and Pacific Connector Gas Pipeline Receive Draft Environmental Impact Statement
Veresen Inc. ("Veresen" or the "Company") (TSX: VSN) announced today that Jordan Cove Energy Project L.P. ("Jordan Cove LNG") and Pacific Connector Gas Pipeline., LP ("Pacific Connector") have today received a draft Environmental Impact Statement ("EIS") from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission ("FERC") in the United States. The draft EIS assesses the liquefied natural gas ("LNG") terminal proposed by Jordan Cove LNG for Coos Bay, Oregon and the Pacific Connector Gas Pipeline proposed by Pacific Connector, which would extend 232 miles from the terminal to Malin, Oregon. Jordan Cove LNG and Pacific Connecter each filed an application to the FERC for approval to construct the LNG export terminal and the pipeline in May and June 2013, respectively.

Veresen Receives NEB Approval to Export Natural Gas to Supply the Jordan Cove LNG Project
Veresen Inc. ("Veresen" or the "Company") (TSX: VSN) announced today that its application to the National Energy Board ("NEB") for a long-term licence to export natural gas from Canada to the United States has been approved by the NEB. Black & Veatch and Kiewit complete first stage of Jordan Cove LNG Facility
Black & Veatch and Kiewit have completed the front-end engineering and design (FEED) work and pre-construction planning activities for the Jordan Cove Liquefaction Project. Veresen Announces $920 Million Investment in the Montney with Strategic Acquisition of Canadian Midstream Assets and Acquisition
Veresen Inc. Veresen and Enbridge Continue to Grow Bakken Midstream Services
Veresen Inc. (TSX:VSN) and Enbridge Inc. (TSX:ENB) (NYSE:ENB), joint owners of Alliance Pipeline, today announced approval by their respective boards of directors which will allow Alliance to proceed with development of a natural gas pipeline lateral and associated facilities to connect production from the Hess Tioga field processing plant in the Bakken region of North Dakota to the Alliance mainline near Sherwood, ND. Alliance has executed a precedent agreement with Hess Corporation as an anchor shipper on the Tioga Lateral pipeline, including matching capacity on the Alliance mainline. Aux Sable (owned by Veresen, Enbridge and Williams Partners, L.P.) and Hess have reached a concurrent agreement for the provision of NGL services. The pipeline is expected to be in service by the third quarter of 2013, subject to regulatory and other required approvals.
