Puma Energy LLC (“Puma Energy”), the global mid and downstream oil company, has completed the acquisition of 100% of the issued share capital of Vitogaz Senegal SA. The principal asset is a 5,000m3 Liquefied Petroleum Gas ("LPG") terminal in the port of Dakar, Senegal.

Vivo Energy: Signing Of Third Phase Of Africa Transaction To Include Botswana And Namibia
Vitol and Helios Investment Partners (Helios) announced today that they have jointly signed the next phase of the transaction that was first announced on February 19th, 2011. On completion of this third phase of the transaction, Vitol and Helios will acquire the majority of Shell’s shareholding in their businesses in Namibia and Botswana. Completion is expected within two to three months, subject to all regulatory approvals. The businesses in Namibia include 34 retail stations with another 44 in Botswana and a total of 140 employees.

Vitol and AtlasInvest enter into a definitive agreement with Petroplus for the purchase of the Cressier Refinery
The Vitol Group announced today that Varo Holding SA, a joint venture between the Vitol Group and AtlasInvest, have entered into a definitive agreement with a wholly owned subsidiary of Petroplus Holdings AG for the purchase of the assets of Petroplus Refining Cressier S.A. and the related Swiss marketing and logistics assets.

ATB Terminal, Tanjung Bin, Malaysia, Receives First Cargo
On April 10th, the ATB oil terminal in the Port of Pelepas, Tanjung Bin, owned and operated by VTTI, the 50/50 joint venture between Vitol and the Malaysian maritime conglomerate MISC received its first oil tanker alongside their deep draft jetty facilities. The MT “Kition”, a 100,000 DWT tanker has safely and successfully discharged at ATB's VLCC berth. The receipt of the first Fuel oil cargo from the MT Kition represents a significant milestone for the ATB oil terminal, offering new storage and logistics opportunities for petroleum products in the Singapore region at competitive rates.

Vitol Agrees Long Term Lng Supply Contract With Komipo
Vitol SA today announced that it has signed a long-term Supply & Purchase Agreement (SPA) with KOMIPO, the Major Korean power company for the annual supply of 400,000 tons of liquefied natural gas (LNG) for 10 years starting in 2015.

Vivo Energy - 2nd phase of Africa transaction completes
Today Vitol, Helios Investment Partners (Helios) and Shell have completed the second phase of the transaction that was first announced on February 19th 2011. Vitol and Helios have acquired the majority of Shell’s shareholding in their businesses in Cote D'Ivoire, Burkina Faso and Guinea as well as the service company Africa Downstream Oil Products (ADOP), the employing company for those Vivo Energy staff who are based in South Africa. These companies will now become part of Vivo Energy, joining the seven companies that transferred to Vivo Energy on December 1st last year. These were Cape Verde, Mauritius, Madagascar, Mali, Morocco, Senegal and Tunisia.

Summa Group And VTTI To Build A Major Oil Terminal In The Port Of Rotterdam
On October 20, 2011 the President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev and the Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte attended the signing ceremony for a major long-term agreement between the Port of Rotterdam and Shtandart TT B.V. Shareholders of Shtandart TT B.V. are Summa Group (75%) and the Dutch company VTTI (25%). The agreement, which was signed by the Summa Group Chairman Ziyavudin Magomedov and the President of the Port of Rotterdam Hans Smits, covers the building and operation of a new major crude and products oil terminal (Tank Terminal Europoort West, TEW) in the Port. The CEO of VTTI Rob Nijst was present at the signing ceremony.

Eni announces the successful appraisal and testing of the Sankofa discovery in the Offshore Cape Three Points (OCTP) licence, of
The Sankofa-2 well was drilled in 864 meters water depth at a distance of about 55 km from the coast to appraise the field , which was discovered by the Sankofa-1 well drilled by Vitol Upstream Ghana Limited in 2009. The well was tested and delivered a (constrained) rate of approximately 29,5 mmscfd of high quality gas and 1000 boepd of 52° API condensate. The appraisal well confirmed the presence of 35m net gas and condensate sands of the Cretaceous age with excellent reservoir characteristics. A six metre oil leg, which will be the object of further studies, was also encountered.
