Wood Group Mustang Performing Front-End Engineering for Hess' Stampede Tension Leg Platform (TLP)
Wood Group Mustang has been awarded the contract to provide front-end engineering design (FEED) services for Hess Corporation’s Stampede tension leg platform (TLP) to be located in 3,500 feet of water in the Gulf of Mexico, Green Canyon block. The TLP, with dry topsides weight of 11,500 tons, is being designed to produce 80,000 BPD oil, 60,000 BPD water and 120 MMSCFD gas at capacity.

Chevron UK extension for WGPSN
Wood Group PSN (WGPSN) has secured a one year contract extension from Chevron North Sea Limited to deliver engineering and construction services to its assets in the Alba and Captain fields in the UK North Sea.

Wood Group Kenny wins engineering contract with BP Angola
Wood Group Kenny (WGK) has recently been awarded a new contract containing two Engineering Services scopes with BP Angola under the BP Global agreement awarded to WGK in 2007. The contract involves Subsea Operations Support: one is for work associated with the Block 18 Greater Plutonio Operations group; the other is for work associated with Block 31 PSVM (Plutao, Saturno, Venus and Marte fields) Operations Group.

WGPSN scoops first life of field contract in the North Sea
Wood Group PSN (WGPSN) has secured its second North Sea duty holder contract extension this year. Valued at approximately $200m (£140m GBP), the life of field contract from Ithaca Energy will see WGPSN operate and deliver managed services to the Beatrice offshore platforms and Nigg onshore terminal until the end of their operating life.

WGPSN clinches UK duty holder contract extension
Wood Group PSN (WGPSN) will continue to provide duty holder and asset management services to the Hummingbird Spirit floating storage offloading production (FPSO) vessel, under a new contract extension from Teekay. Effective from April 2013, the contract continues until the end of 2013 with options to extend to March 2015. This two year extension option is valued at USD $87 million (£56 million GBP).

The contract is to commission the first phase of the Majnoon field, near Basra in Southern Iraq.
