Woodside advises that the Xeres-1 well has intersected approximately 51 metres of gross gas within the Triassic target. The well is located about 12 kilometres ESE of the Pluto-1 discovery in licence WA-34-L, Carnarvon Basin, Western Australia.

Claim Group Approves Proposal for Browse LNG Precinct

Fluor Wins Browse Offshore FEED Contract in Australia
Fluor Corporation (NYSE: FLR) announced today that its Fluor Offshore Solutions unit was awarded a front-end engineering and design (FEED) contract by Woodside for the Browse Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Development. The Browse fields are located in the Browse Basin about 425 kilometres north of Broome off the western coast of Australia. Fluor will be responsible for FEED services for the offshore central gas processing facility including the steel jackets, a compression platform and a utilities accommodation platform. Fluor has teamed with McDermott International, Inc. (NYSE: MDR), to design the steel jackets and float-over installation. Fluor booked the undisclosed contract services value in the fourth quarter of 2010.

Woodside - Sale of Pluto Uncommitted Cargoes
Woodside has signed an LNG Sale and Purchase Agreement with Asean LNG Trading Co. Ltd (ALTCO), a subsidiary of Petronas International Corporation Ltd, for the supply of uncommitted cargoes from the foundation Pluto LNG Project.

The Pluto Foundation Project is 95% complete
As foreshadowed in Woodside’s most recent quarterly report a comprehensive six-monthly cost and schedule review for the Pluto Foundation LNG Project has just been completed. The review has led to a revised ready-for-start-up (RFSU) target of August 2011. The first LNG cargo is targeted a month after start-up.
