						 <p>Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced today that it was awarded a multi-year engineering services agreement by ConocoPhillips to support the sustaining capital program for the <a href="http://abarrelfull.wikidot.com/australia-pacific-lng">Australia Pacific LNG facility</a> after its completion. The facility is located on Curtis Island in Queensland, Australia.</p> <p>The facility consists of two LNG trains, each capable of producing 4.5Mtpa of LNG. First LNG is expected from Train 1 in mid-2015, with Train 2 startup expected approximately 6-9 months later. The footprint of the Curtis Island plant is designed to accommodate future growth, with the potential to house up to four LNG trains. ConocoPhillips operates the facility on behalf of Australia Pacific LNG.</p> <p>Jacobs’ scope of work includes engineering studies, Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) services, and detail design including procurement, commissioning and construction support for sustaining capital and mid-cap projects at the facility over a period of four years. The agreement has the option to extend for a further four years.</p> <p>Company officials did not disclose the contract value.</p> <p>In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Phil Lory said, “We are very pleased to continue our strong relationship with ConocoPhillips and deliver this landmark program in Australia. (NYSE:JEC) announced today that it received a contract to provide construction management services for <a href="http://abarrelfull.wikidot.com/north-west-redwater-refinery-project">North West Redwater Partnership’s Sturgeon Refinery project</a> in Alberta, Canada.</p> <p>Officials did not disclose the contract value, but noted that Jacobs is already providing engineering and procurement services for the utilities requirements of the refinery under a separate contract.</p> <p>Located approximately 30 miles northeast of Edmonton, the Sturgeon Refinery is being designed to enhance cost effectiveness and minimize environmental impact. Although only Phase 1 is sanctioned at this time, eventually the facility is expected to operate at a capacity of 150,000 barrels per day; producing diesel, diluent and other bitumen products for national and global markets.</p> <p>In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Greg Rumford stated, “We are pleased to strengthen our relationship with North West Redwater Partnership by providing construction management services as well as engineering and procurement services on this significant project. 						 <p>Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced today that it was awarded a contract by BP for process and infrastructure work on the greenfield <a href="http://abarrelfull.wikidot.com/khazzan-gas-field">Khazzan project</a> in the Sultanate of Oman.</p> <p>Under the terms of the contract, Jacobs is providing engineering, procurement and construction management services in relation to approximately $2 billion of gas gathering and water pipelines, wellhead production facilities and export pipelines for the development of the southern sector of Block 61. Jacobs’ scope of work also includes the detailed design and program management for the associated project infrastructure.</p> <p>The work utilizes resources from multiple Jacobs offices located in the Middle East, U.K., India and the U.S.; and Jacobs is also committed to supporting the In Country Value goals of the Sultanate of Oman to build local content by developing the local workforce and engaging local suppliers. The project is expected to mobilize immediately.</p> <p>Jacobs Group Vice President Conor Doyle stated, “We are delighted to be working with the Sultanate of Oman and BP on this major new upstream project in Oman. We see tremendous opportunities to leverage our technical experience in tight gas projects with our infrastructure capability in the region, and are pleased to support this pioneering development.”</p> <p>In December 2013, the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and BP announced a gas sales agreement and an amended production sharing agreement for the development of the Khazzan field, with BP as operator. (NYSE:JEC) announced today that its AJS joint venture with AMEC and Stork has secured a contract extension to continue providing integrated services to the Shell ONEgas Southern North Sea (SNS) asset base.</p> <p>Company officials did not disclose the contract value but noted that it includes a base period of five years, plus a further five-year option period.</p> <p>Shell ONEgas is a combined business unit of Shell UK Exploration &amp; Production (Shell) and the Nederlandse Aardolie Maatschappij B.V. (NAM).</p> <p>Under the terms of the contract, AJS is providing integrated engineering and project management services for maintenance, modifications and capital projects. The work is executed offshore on 54 assets in the Southern North Sea, and onshore at gas plants in Bacton in the UK and Den Helder in the Netherlands. Approximately 1,250 personnel are employed by the joint venture across the assets, and from office locations in Great Yarmouth, UK, and Leiden, Netherlands. Working as an integrated team, the AJS joint venture has successfully delivered multiple services for Shell ONEgas since 2003.</p> <p>In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Mark Bello said, “We are pleased to deliver value to this significant asset base. (NYSE:JEC) announced today it has been awarded a contract from <a href="http://abarrelfull.wikidot.com/queensland-curtis-lng-terminal">QGC</a>, part of BG Group plc (LSE: BG.L), a world leader in natural gas. QGC is one of the major proponents in the rapidly developing coal seam gas (CSG) to liquefied natural gas (LNG) industry in Australia.</p> <p>Officials did not disclose the contract value, but noted that the services are being provided from Jacobs’ Brisbane, Australia and Denver, Colo., U.S. offices, enabling QGC to leverage the substantial experience that Jacobs has gained in the U.S. CSG market.</p> <p>Under the terms of the contract, Jacobs is performing concept study and pre-FEED (front-end engineering and design) activities to support further development of the upstream portion of the project. Jacobs’ scope of work includes the production well pads that produce and separate gas and water; the gathering systems that transport the produced fluids; and the field compressor stations that form part of the transport system carrying the produced gas to the LNG production facilities.</p> <p>These facilities are designed to connect into the existing infrastructure that transports the CSG to QGC’s LNG plant located on Curtis Island, near Gladstone in Queensland. 						 <p>Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced today that it was awarded a contract from Saudi Aramco Lubricating Oil Refining Co. (Luberef) to provide project management consulting (PMC) services for an expansion project at its lube oil refinery in <a href="http://abarrelfull.wikidot.com/yanbu-refinery">Yanbu</a>, Saudi Arabia.</p> <p>Officials did not disclose the contract value, however noted that the overall expansion project cost is estimated at approximately $1 billion. Jacobs' Leiden, Netherlands office is managing the overall project in collaboration with Jacobs’ offices in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia and other locations.</p> <p>Under the terms of the agreement, Jacobs is providing PMC services for both inside battery limits (ISBL) and outside battery limits (OSBL). The ISBL services include a new lube oil unit, a new sulfur complex, a new hydrogen manufacturing unit, and an expansion of the propane de-asphalting unit. The OSBL services involve all utilities, tanks and infrastructure.</p> <p>The Yanbu Refinery expansion is expected to increase base oil production to meet future demands for high quality GR-II and GR-III base oils; increase the GR-I Bright stock to almost double current production; produce higher-value byproducts (naphtha, diesel, and kerosene); and satisfy Kingdom requirements for producing drilling fluid, which is currently being imported.</p> <p>Luberef's President and CEO Hasan Jamaan Alzahrani stated, &quot;This expansion project will add value to the Kingdom's economy including employment, and provide high quality lubricants to the markets we serve. (SoCalGas) to provide project management services for the Pipeline Safety Enhancement Program.</p> <p>Officials did not disclose the contract value, but noted that it is a five-year contract with a provision for five one-year extensions. Phase 1A of the Pipeline Safety Enhancement Program consists of pressure testing approximately 360 miles of existing pipelines; replacing approximately 246 miles of the 3,750 mile pipeline system; and upgrading or replacing 173 mainline valves. SoCalGas is awaiting approval of the Pipeline Safety Enhancement Program from the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), which is expected in mid-2013. (NYSE:JEC) announced today that it was awarded a contract from Shell Deutschland Oil GmbH to provide project management and engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) services to support the &quot;Connect&quot; project in Rhineland, Germany.</p> <p>Officials did not disclose the contract value, however, they noted that the project is scheduled to be completed early in 2013.</p> <p>Jacobs' EPCM scope includes piping tie-ins, instrumentation, steel structures, pump stations, and other infrastructure components. An onsite Jacobs/Shell team of approximately 50 personnel is executing the work supported by Jacobs' office in Mumbai, India.</p> <p>The project involves the construction of two tunnels under the Rhine River to connect <a href="http://abarrelfull.wikidot.com/rheinland-werk-godorf-cologne-refinery">Shell's two German Rhineland refinery sites</a>, which are 2.36 miles (3.8 kilometers) apart. The tunnels are being developed by a specialist contractor. Jacobs is designing and installing the infrastructure inside the battery limits (ISBL) of each refinery site to connect each facility to the tunnels. Once completed, the Connect project is anticipated to enable Shell to optimize operational synergies between the two sites.
